To the 2017 students and parents thank you for all the ongoing support at Oatley throughout your time here. I wish all the students success as they move into high school. Don’t forget to call back and make contact with us.

To my continuing school community and students into 2018 and the 2017 leavers please have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New year. Be safe and enjoy the Summer holiday break.

Students resume on Tuesday 30 January 2018 for Years 1-6. On that day the Kindergarten 2018 will come up to the school Library for their Best Start assessment which has been booked in for you for a 30 minute session. Then on Wednesday 31 January, 2018 our Kindergarten students start school.

Classes have now been formed for 2018 under the guidance of the class teachers, EAL/D & LaST teachers. We have ensured students wellbeing and academic needs are going to be met. These are now in our enrolment system so there will not be any changes made in 2018. We have a talented and enthusiastic team of teachers here at Oatley who are excited about the next year ahead with your children. The classes are full and the extra demountable arriving on the south site during the holidays has meant that our enrolment numbers have again increased. There will be 4 Kindergarten classes in 2018. All our K-2 classes will be located on the north site and all the 3-6 classes will be located on the south site. We are locating the new demountable in a non playground area so we can maintain the normal playground spaces. The roofing on G BLOCK should be completed before Christmas and it has created a new look to this block. Please be aware that construction will be occurring over the holiday break so do not let your child into the school grounds unsupervised.
