BEBRAS Computational Thinking Challenge Results

September 10th, 2017 | Posted by Sarah Kennedy | Filed in: General

The second round of the Bebras Australia Computational Thinking Challenge finished last Friday. Thank you to the over 100 Oatley PS students who participated! All the challenges have already been graded and students will receive their individual results from their classroom teacher later this week.

Oatley PS students did very well overall in this challenge showing their continuing development and refinement of computational thinking skills.

I would like to particularly acknowledge the following 9 students who received a Distinction result:

  • Year 3: Caitlin T, Maya T, Oliver C and Eva K
  • Year 4: Alida Y, Chloe G, Emily S, Lena Z and Summer B

There were also 24 students who received a CREDIT result in the challenge.

Thank you again to all the teachers in Years 3-6 who were very supportive and rearranged their programs to allow the students time to complete the challenge.
